These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pinfo mobile app and related services (the "Service"), operated by Friedrich Bremer, Spenerstraße, 10577 Berlin, Germany ("Pinfo", "we", "us"). By using Pinfo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 to use Pinfo, and old enough to attend any event you choose to attend. You are responsible for complying with any age or other restrictions set by event organisers or venues. By using Pinfo you represent that all information you provide is true, accurate, and current, and that you will keep it that way.
You sign in with your phone number; verification is handled by Google Firebase. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your phone number and device secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may remove, reclaim, or change a username if, in our reasonable judgment, it is inappropriate, offensive, or misleading.
Pinfo lets you discover events near you, express interest in public events, RSVP to private events, save events, host and manage your own events, chat with other users, and optionally add events to your calendar. Some features require an account, and some require a paid subscription (see below). Pinfo does not currently sell event tickets or process payments for event admission; where that changes, we will update these Terms accordingly before the feature launches.
Pinfo is free to browse, save, express interest, RSVP, and chat (chat requires an account). Hosting more than one event requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold as an auto-renewing purchase through your Apple App Store account:

You keep ownership of the content you create (events, messages, images, voice notes, and other material). You grant Pinfo a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as necessary to operate and provide the Service (for example, showing your event on the map or delivering your message to its recipient). We do not otherwise claim ownership of your content, and we do not sell it.
You agree not to use Pinfo to: post unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content; impersonate others; scrape or systematically collect data from the Service; spam or send unsolicited communications; interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation or security features; organise or promote illegal activity; or violate anyone's rights. You are solely responsible for the events you host and for your interactions with other users. We may remove content, or suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms, without prior notice.
The Pinfo app, its name, logo, design, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your own devices for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by applicable law. If you believe content on Pinfo infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at pinfoapp@gmail.com with enough detail for us to locate and assess the material.
Messages you send through Pinfo are stored on our servers and are not end-to-end encrypted. We may access message content where necessary to operate the Service, respond to reports, or keep users safe. You can report or block other users. Do not send content through Pinfo that you would not want stored on our servers or seen by us or your recipients.
Some events shown in Pinfo are aggregated from public listings on third-party platforms (such as Resident Advisor, Lu.ma, Eventbrite, and DICE). For those events, Pinfo is not the organiser and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, changes, or cancellations. Expressing "interest" in a public event within Pinfo is not a ticket, booking, or RSVP with the actual organiser. Always confirm details, tickets, and admission directly with the organiser or venue. Links to third-party websites or content are provided for convenience; we do not review, endorse, or take responsibility for them, and accessing them is at your own risk.
Pinfo is a platform for discovering events and connecting with people. We do not organise, host, endorse, or supervise third-party events, and we are not responsible for venues, organisers, or the conduct of other users. You attend events and interact with other people at your own risk, and you are responsible for your own safety.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using Pinfo at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account).
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that event information is accurate. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinfo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service, third-party events, or interactions with other users. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including your statutory consumer rights, or liability for intent or gross negligence).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU, you may bring proceedings either in the courts of Germany or in the courts of your own country of residence.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
